I am writing to express my concern at the proposed siting of a radio-
communications tower at  4537 Rocky Point Road. I find the way in  
which the siting of the proposed tower was rushed through before  
Metchosin Council and Municipality had formulated their tower  
guidelines underhanded. The laccidasical way of notifying a handful of  
affected households, and the total lack of consultation with local  
residents was unprofessional and unbecoming of a company who suggests  
they are "friendly".

I am hopeful that it will be possible for Telus to resume its  
conversation with Metchosin council so that together both may come up  
with a site for the proposed tower that will satisfy all concerns.
